And, how bout Fisher?  Get's drafted, has to fulfill his two year commitment to the Air Force before he can play, and here he is in the league all these years later, playing for Seattle apparently, and going to the Super Bowl to boot.  Good for him.

Good for him but he was given the option to not serve (go reserves I believe) and he said 'No, I am going to serve my commitment'. Always made me think well of him.

Oh and another thing Fermid covered was Ruben did NOT get a penality a game; some bozo on a radio started saying that and it caught on although it was not true.

I think problem with Rueben was he usually did it at a critical moment so it always seemed to have more of an impact.

Exactly, just goes to show once again that stats don't come close to telling the whole story. Same thing with sacks, he got burned at the worst times possible.

Kinda like the idiot reporter who said something like, "Buffalo has passed the ball 3,458,385 straight times on 3rd and less than 3!!!" when in reality that was nowhere near the truth... Yet everyone quoted it anyway.

Makes you wish people would do their own due diligence before believing everything they read...

Yeah, except people here eqate the "worst possible time" with "anytime it happens."

Agreed. Hey, he had a nice career here, no doubt, but he killed us in 2003... that's when the "worst possible times" really stood out IMO.
