sven233 Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 The pickings are getting pretty slim out there. Out of the guys that might be available, who do you guys want to see in here?
BillsGuyInMalta Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Lofton or Caldwell would be interesting.
sven233 Posted January 25, 2006 Author Posted January 25, 2006 I know Lofton has been the WR coach in SD, but I wish I knew more about his coaching tenure.......I wonder what kind of offense he would run. I believe that Caldwell might be a good choice. I don't know what is philosophy would be and I don't know if we have the talent to run what he may want to do. Would definately be interesting though.
BEAST MODE BABY! Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Don't forget, Cam Cameron was H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E at Indiana. I know, I went to Purdue. He was known as an offensive guy, but never seemed to get everything in order. But now he's running a good offense in San Diego. You never know. Â I would prefer someone who has been good in a number of different situations/teams/systems.
Nanker Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Maybe he picks someone from college like he did the first time around. That might be better than elevating a positional coach to a Coordinator's spot.

Plus he has instant credibility with players as a result of his playing career. I, like you, have no idea what sort of an offensive philosophy he favors, however.  I also would not be displeased with the selection of Caldwell, seeing as how he has worked with a great offense over the past several years and was thought of highly enough by the Colts' organization that he was the interim HC when Dungy was out.
30dive Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 I'm really starting to think that the Bills ought to wait for XL to be played and speak with Jim Zorn, QB coach with the Seahawks.
Bills4154 Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Buffalo News stated maybe Steve Fairchild, former Bills coach and Rams OC as possible candidate.
eball Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Buffalo News stated maybe Steve Fairchild, former Bills coach and Rams OC as possible candidate. 583139 Ahh yes, the Rams' offense that consistently gets their QBs killed. No thank you.
dry martini Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Buffalo News stated maybe Steve Fairchild, former Bills coach and Rams OC as possible candidate. 583139 Â Â apparently has spoken with the Jets and Saints want to talk with him.
bills_fan Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 They can have him. He was Greggos RB coach in 01 and 02. Do you guys remember our RBs doing anything of note in 01? Henry was decent in 02, but c'mon. I'd like to see EXPERIENCE.

2003Contenders Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Mike Martz is still lingering out there.
NEBRASKABILLSFAN Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Mike Martz is still lingering out there. 583298 that would be awesome ( M. MARTZ)
bobinaz Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 one of these three would be good; martz, caldwell or wyche..
