Tcali Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 Turkish News Who knew Turkey loves the Bills? 581325 --that is actually a turkish paper....how f'ing strange. PS--is there a good bar to see the Bills in Ankara?
sfladave Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that Jauron has Turkish roots. That or the editor of the Turkish press is from Buffalo.
Webster Guy Posted January 24, 2006 Author Posted January 24, 2006 There's an opinion page that compares Tom Donahoe's reign to the Ottoman Empire. The Turks really look forward to Jauron.
/dev/null Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 so...have you ever been in a Turkish prison?

crazyDingo Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 DOOOMED! WE MIGHT LOSE THE BILLS TO TURKEY! Hey, does it matter that a country 8,000 mles away has better analysis than the Hamburg Sun?
Nanker Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 What a great photo of our new HC. He looks so intelligent in that headset. Wade could never look that smart.
stuckincincy Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 so...have you ever been in a Turkish prison? 581335 Not me, but I saw the movie.
Nanker Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 so...have you ever been in a Turkish prison? 581335 I know someone quite well who actually visited THAT prison. You might not want to believe this, but the Turks made it into a hotel. True story.
Tortured Soul Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 The Turkish Press is in Michigan. I think the funnier part is that it's an AFP wire story.
Fan in Chicago Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 Those who haven't read international papers may be surprised that they follow a lot of WORLD sports as opposed to just their own country's sporting interests. When vacationing in India, I can see NBA and NFL games on live TV even though nobody plays American football there and neither is basketball a professional sport there. Also NASCAR is shown regularly. What does that say about how close minded we in the US are with respect to sports ?
