firstngoal Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 I'm willing to give Jauron a chance but like Bill Parcells once said "it is what it is"! Jauron will be a players Coach and he gives the team an experienced Coach, but with Jauron you know what your getting a .500 team at best. How many times will he OUTCOACH a Parcells or a Cohrer or Holmgren or Fox and the list goes on! Not Many! This team has NO FUTURE with Marv as GM because how many more years do you think he's going to be able to do the job - he turns 81 in September! Then a new Gm comes in and hires a new Head Coach! By bringing in Marv and Jauron this move is just a "hope we get lucky and win the whole thing within the next 2-3 years" which won't happen because we are light years away from even a sniff at the postseason!
Louie Armstrong Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 So would you say your a "glass is half empty" type of person?
nobody Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 At least all of the veteran players who sucked last season will be happy that they can control their HC.
