Pass the Pipe Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 You’re the owner of this God D** franchise, show some b*lls. Hiring from the Detroit Lions is like GE looking for managers at the latest migrant workers’ line at Home Depot. Jauron’s resume is not on the same plant with Sherman yet we hire this guy. It is really amazing how deeply this organization has sunk. Frankly, Mike Malurkey would have been better than this guy and MM was dead right with disagreeing in the direction of this organization. This team needed something positive to happen with this move, but instead they go out and hire a proven loser that went 1-7 against his top interview competition. What is a better example of capabilities than head-to-head match ups? Even in Jauron’s 13-3 season, Sherman beat him twice. On top of this, Sherman is a big advocate of our young quarterback, he had GM and player personnel experience etc. This decision reeks of cronyism and is just another bad move in a long list of bad moves by this organization. Marv found his puppet just like Donahoe had his.
