ksl66 Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 How can anyone not like this, we are all going on hunches, like I said in another post, I would have perferred SAherman, but everyone who talks about Jauron holds him in very high regard.
Lurker Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Looks like Ralph made his last mistake. 577908 Yeah, sort of in character for him. I'm surprised that Levy would tarnish his legacy with this pick, however.
Frez Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Dick Juaron and JP Losman baby! Mother of all gods!
Rico Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Better than Meathead, at least he's an Ivy Leaguer.
duey Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Looks like I'll be the first to say it... DOOMED!!!!
JLO Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Wake me in about 5 years when this disaster is over.
Lurker Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Wake me in about 5 years when this disaster is over. 577938 I wonder what city the franchise will be calling home then.
drhockey Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Well, that was certainly a craptastic move digging into our past to grab Marv for these key decisions. I mean, i'm not going to pretend to know nearly as much as any of the NFL front office types, or Marv for that matter, but come on......enough of the cronyism for cripes sakes!!! Hire the BEST man for the job, and i have serious doubts that DJ was the BEST coach for the job. After watching the Steelers completely out-coach the Broncos, i thought that game stressed even more the importance of a top notch staff. Personally, i thought that hiring MS was the start of that staff. I'm sick to my stomach and SO disappointed with these events. What a bad marketing move too. This franchise despearately needs some real guidance. ugh.....
Brandon Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 I'm sure he came cheap. 577939 May not look too cheap once season ticket sales figures start coming in...
SDS Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Let's hear it for your General Manager, your Hall of Fame Coach, Marvelous Marv Levy. Give that old fart a hand folks. He's the breasts. Good to have him back...
JLO Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 I wonder what city the franchise will be calling home then. 577949 fortunately Im already out here in L.A., so i'll be waiting.
Mile High Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Let's hear it for your General Manager, your Hall of Fame Coach, Marvelous Marv Levy. Give that old fart a hand folks. He's the breasts. Good to have him back... 577956 Couldn't you have just said I told you so.
Quester74 Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 You gotta be kidding me.. if DJ wasn't good enough for the Lions, of all teams.. What the hell makes Marv and Ralph think he's good enough for the Bills? Good God. Quester74
TC in St. Louis Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Jauron had a great year. 24th ranked defense....down from 20th ranked defense from the previous year. Solid defensive guy. Let's bring in a defensive guy, the guy who led the 5-11 Lions defense to the stellar 24th ranking in the league. Let's grab that guy. What about Sherman? His defense, despite the team stinking due to unbelievable injuries, ranked #4 in the league. I'm sick to my stomach. I can't stand this hire. Hate it.
