Frez Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Steelers are playing football the way it's suppose to be played! Dick Labeau knows defense.

Their O-Line is absolutely dominating Denver's d-line, coupled with the fact that their QB is deadly accurate and just in the zone, add that to an already great Defense.....man they are a well-oiled machine right now.
realtruelove Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 You have to hand it to the Steelers, they are rolling. Very well coached.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 22, 2006 Author Posted January 22, 2006 Give credit where credit is due. 577679 Like you morons did for the winner of three of the last four Super Bowls? Pardon me if I'm underwhelmed by your droll wit.

Cedric Wilson has been open all game, and Hines Ward and Heath Miller and all of them have also been getting open too. And new Jake just made an old Jake play, which cost them a touchdown.

Dick Labeau knows defense. 577680 Of course it doesn't hurt when you have four of the best LBs in the game on one team and a SS that just makes plays everywhere. But don't liet that cloud your judgement. The Bills have never and WILL NEVER have a team like these guys. Ever. I'll take any bets that think the opposite.

Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 22, 2006 Author Posted January 22, 2006 i'd rather have Jake than JP 577694 I'm sorry, but you're nuts. Jake Plummer is a turnover machine. JP has actually been prudent with the ball in his first year starting for the most part.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Just wait for the Steelers to lose the SB.

Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 22, 2006 Author Posted January 22, 2006 Just wait for the Steelers to lose the SB. 577703 I'm praying for a horrible injury to Roethlibergererereer in the second half. No way they win a SB with Maddox under center.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 22, 2006 Author Posted January 22, 2006 Steelers are well coached and don't let that cloud your judgement! 577704 Uh, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Mr. Chin like 1-4 in AFC championship games and 0-1 in Super Bowls? Thought so.
IowaBills Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 i'd rather have Jake than JP 577694 let's not get crazy. JP is seven years younger than Plummer and has shown a much better sense of not forcing things than Plummer did at the same stage of his career, and JP has a stronger arm and is just as mobile as Plummer. If JP improves his accuracy next year, he will already be better than Plummer. Therefore I would not take Plummer over JP, not now and not even if Plummer was only 24.
