Poeticlaw Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 http://www.bearshistory.com/seasons/1999.html I was online looking around for Dick Jauron Stuff to see if anything else would convince me that he would not be another GW/MM pick for head coach and came across this article that essentially stated that dave mcginnis was the guy but the Bears F'up big time and intoduced him as there new head caoh without agreeing to terms and Mcginnis declined the job. Also looking at the roster Villariel was on the OL and Shane Mathews was the QB.
BillnutinHouston Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Jauron has a checkered history of selecting offensive coordinators. Just say no Marv.
/dev/null Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 among the interviewees so far he's not my 2nd choice for Bills HC, he's my 6th Sherman April Caldwell Lofton Capers Jauron i'd be happy with Jauron as Defensive Coordinator, but I don't want him as Head Coach

Mile High Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Am I seriously the only one who has a bad feeling about this? The consensus on TBD pretty much clearly states that most people want Sherman over Jauron. Are some of you as well, worried that they might be swinging more toward Jauron?

THis is the year the Ralph is putting commitment to winning on the line and by hiring anyone other than Shermans qaulifications would be a step in the wrong direction.
