The reason I am posted this link separtely then as a reply in someones thread already started is for everyone to be able to see what made him an impression on TD and Sherman as well as myself becuase I would have drafted him only second to Rothlesnberger because i personally feel that Rivers and Manning are not the quality type of QB we are looking for. Except I had him going as our second Round pick.

To reply to his threads.

I think JP was dealt a bad hand from the getgo. Say what you want about Bledsoe but he had the respect of his teamates and to lose his job to an unproven QB who was out of 3/4 of his first season because of a broken leg, I dont think was a smart decisionon behalf of TD whom by the way was not going to be shown up by pittsburgh striking gold in their QB's first year. TD was paying more attention to his damn ego then what was the right thing for the organization. Bledsoe should have been the QB last year hands down. Regardless of what the Bills fans think of him he was the veteran leader that had the credentials as far as his teammates go and they want to win at all cost not take a step back with an unproven rookie who stole a job away from what Bledsoes teamates thought was the best gut in there.

JP could have been getting one more year with some playing time throughout the year but he would have been one step closer this coming season or next depending on how we would have finished.

However, I have seen two types of JP this season the First JP who was timid an nervous and didnt want to let ANYONE in the orginzation down. Then in his second stint I saw a QB who had gained confidence except for the NE game the fallout of moulds game. For anyone to state he did not progress in his first stint he was:

46/94 433yds 1 td 2 int first 4 games passing completion percent 48.9 .5 int %

59/118 907 833 yds 5 tds 6 ints passing completion percent 50.0 .833int %

and his back up game 9/16 for 137 yds 2tds and the win.

So we see in his stats much improved in yds/tds and td to interception percentage improved as well as a slight increase in accuracy. This kid has the tools hes not RJ hes going to be a good QB and he certainly his better than ELI with better stats lets look:

Rank GP GS comp att comp% yds tds ints QB RATING

18 9 8 113 228 49.6 1340 8 8 64.9 JP

18 9 7 95 197 48.2 1043 6 9 55.4 ELI

So in the rookie year comparison JP blew away ELI and in Eli's first complete seaon he took his team to the palyoffs but only with a 52.8% passing completion %.

SO anyone uneducated enough to write JP of as a bust please do more research on first year qbs. Also note that ELI has an Offensive team with Burress and Illiard and Tiki Barber and a real good catching TE in SHockey. So if we put these in place we could see a great improvement in JP. ok!!!

No on my own personal feelings JP reminds me soooooo much of Farve the simularities are great and thats why I feel sherman wanted him because Farve would have shown the kid how to put those talents to use.

I admire your gumption, but let's make one thing clear: nothing ANYONE posts is going to change anybody's mind about JP until we see him play in 2006.

Those who think he's a bust, will continue to so think.

Those who think he hasn't gotten a fair shake, will continue to so think.

It's still a wait and see game.
