firstngoal Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Bills | Debating head coaching situation Sat, 21 Jan 2006 11:47:24 -0800 Allen Wilson, of the Buffalo News, reports Buffalo Bills team sources said there may be a split inside the organization, with some favoring Dick Jauron and others liking Mike Sherman as the team's next head coach. If that is the case, it's not out of the realm of possibility that Dom Capers could become the compromise candidate.
JoeF Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 I read this story this morning and found the logic very bizarre...half the organization likes Sherman; half the organization likes Jauron...so as a compromise you hire the candidate that noone rates best....I think this will not happen...Ralph and Marv are smarter than this.
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 That doesn't make much sense. Some people want jauron.... some want sherman, so they'll agree to settle on dom capers? Sounds like more reporting for the sake of reporting, and no real idea of whats going on. Nothing to see here keep it moving.

firstngoal Posted January 21, 2006 Author Posted January 21, 2006 I found this kinda bizzare myself but who knows if Marv and Ralph can't make up their mind or should I say give in to each other since it's been reported that Ralph wants Sherman and Levy wants Jauron. All I know is they better get busy cause the Senior Bowl practices start Monday and their Coach should be down there.
EndZoneCrew Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Capers sucks as a head coach...enough said...Wilson is just throwing it out there...no crap he has a chance to be coach...that doesn't mean anything!

Does he think the Bills brass are a bunch of kindergarteners? "Well if I can't have my top guy, you can't have your top guy either...."

Lurker Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 About as likely as Allen Wilson becoming publisher of the BN.
sfladave Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 ....and we wonder why Mularkey bailed? 577070 Allen Wilson made him do it?
Thailog80 Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Allen Wilson made him do it? 577074 No the new management structure did. Already looking like fools.
seq004 Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 No the new management structure did. Already looking like fools. 577076 I know the old management structure produced much better results than the new one that's been in place for about 2 weeks so I can't blame Mularkey

Alaska Darin Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 If we end up with Dom Capers because it's a "compromise" I'm going to lose it. Nice leadership.

Sweater Vests or Sweat suits Sunsweet or California prunes 577082 Obviously! After all, Levy and Wilson have been running the team for 10 days now and still no Super Bowl? Have you considered the possibilty that the reporters are getting it wrong? I mean consider this formula: a) coaching candidate interviews = b) report comes out that recent interviewee is likely to be hired. How many times did that happen so far? 2-3 times???? So YOU read that as Wilson/Levy not being able to make up their minds and being incompetant. But it never occurs to you most of these reporters are reporting heresay right now! PTR
AstrosShortstop Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Wilson can write this piece of crap theory, yet Sullie gets his article editted by the News sports editors. Another Great job Allen Wilson, i'll give you credit an give it a D minus...... bring on another paper in this town!

I would have rather had TOm Coughlin.......Capers is nothing but a good DC....just like a Greg Williams...
