HarkinBanks Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Totally objectively, check out this comparison. I only have the Bills being better at one, maybe two, defensive positions. Our D is FAR AWAY from rejoining the NFL's elite: LE Courtney Brown or Chris Kelsay? Brown Broncos LT Michael Myers or Justin Bannon? Myers Broncos RT Gerard Warren or Tim Ansderson? Warren Broncos RE Trevor Pryce or Aaron Schobel? Tie WLB Ian Gold or Takeo Spikes (when healthy)? Tie (depending on Spikes health next year) MLB Al Wilson or London Fletcher? Wilson Broncos SLB D.J. Williams or Jeff Posey? Williams Broncos LCB Champ Bailey or Nate Clements? Bailey Broncos RCB Domonique Foxworth or Terence McGee? McGee Bills SS Nick Ferguson or Lawyer Milloy? Tie FS John Lynch or Troy Vincent? Lynch Broncos Thoughts????

Achilles repaired Spikes will probably not be the same though. Thinking about Cowart.
Orton's Arm Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Is Nick Ferguson really that bad a player?
The Jokeman Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Is Nick Ferguson really that bad a player? 577075 So bad the Jets signed him off the Bills practice squad back in 2000. Since then he's been a good backup/special teamer throughout most of his NFL career and finally became a full time starter this season.
ganesh Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 You have to look at it more objectively from what they had done over the past few seasons than just this year.....If that were true then Warren, and Brown won't make your list.....
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 dline- brown, adams, warren, schobel lbs- spikes/wilson/williams cbs- Clements/Mcgee ss-milloy fs- lynch

LabattBlue Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 i'd take kelsay over brown any day 576715 I know Brown was a bust in Cleveland, but he is a starting DE on a team in the conference championship versus a guy who started 16 games(on one of the NFL's worst defenses) as a third year player and was virtually non-existant for most of the season much like the player who lines up behind him...Jeff Posey.

Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Uh, I wouldn't want that bunch of clowns if they looked like today, either.
Bill from NYC Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Why aren't you using Sam Adams or Edwards in the DT slots? 577445 Stop asking dumb questions, OK?
The Dean Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Stop asking dumb questions, OK? 577761 Yup...my bad. What the hell was I thinking?
