hootie1 Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 I live in NJ, and was reading my local paper, not usually a source for Bills news, and came accross a jets article that mentioned that Henderson was let go and will be interviewing wth our BIlls. I found the same artricle on line (link below) http://www.nj.com/sports/ledger/index.ssf?...2640.xml&coll=1

Stevie Ray Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 "...and Saints offensive coordinator Mike Sheppard are the early front-runners for the Jets' offensive coordinator job."
Chilly Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 "...and Saints offensive coordinator Mike Sheppard are the early front-runners for the Jets' offensive coordinator job." 574509 Mangini is really going in the right direction with that franchise eh?
CoachChuckDickerson Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 "...and Saints offensive coordinator Mike Sheppard are the early front-runners for the Jets' offensive coordinator job." 574509 Honestly, I don't know why folks crap on this guy so bad. Sure he got fired as the O-Coordinator here but don't forget RJ was the dude's QB. What can you do with that?
Ray Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 People who wanted the 34 yr old Mangini will be happy he is not here. Mike Sheppard as OC. What did he last in Buffalo--a year? Mangini is a good coach but inexperienced for a HC position. Interesting that of all the HC positions open (9-10 total) nobody even asked to interview Mangini. Let him cut his teeth with the Jets and struggle. Fine with me.

He's tough but the players love him.
