Prior to this past season, Sherman led the Packers to four consecutive playoff appearances and three straight NFC North division titles.

Ah but if you listen to some people on The Wall, winning isnt the most important thing...its all about potential baby! Thats Dick Jauron right there!

Completed already? That's a bad sign.  Dick was basically here all day yesterday.  This sucks.

The author of this thread is making assumptions. The article, posted at 2:40 today, is written in the past tense but says nothing about the interview or when it was completed. It simply says he's in town and then goes on about his previous qualifications. The exact same type of article was written about Dick Jauron at 2:31 yesterday. They're both boilerplate articles that were probably uploaded at some standard time.

So if we're going by the articles tense and publication time alone, Sherman was actually in Buffalo for 9 minutes longer! But we're not, because that would be stupid.

How long did you think it would take for this:

Ralph: How much will you cost us?

Mike: 3.5 mill per year.

Ralph: Next?!!

Hey Veronica. Before you get your knickers in a twist, the article was posted at 2:40pm. The article posted yesterday saying that Jauron had interviewed was posted at 2:31pm. So by your logic, Jauron's interview ended earlier.

Also take note that nowhere in either article does it give the completion time of the interview.

That doesn't mean much of anything. For all we know, Jauron spent all day trying to convince them how great he was, while the Sherman interview went something like:

MARV: I'm not gonna beat around the bush -- here's our offer, Mike.

SHERMAN: Great, I'll take it. Pleasure doing business with you.

MARV: Mr. Wilson will drive you back to the airport so you can start packing. After all, we want you at OBD bright and early on Friday.

Or maybe it means that he crapped on Ralph's pills and was escorted out of the office by security. We just don't know.

Channel 2 news reported Sherman would be in town for 2-3 days.

Exactly. Even though both articles were written in past tense doesn't mean anything. The two sides could still be talking for all we know. Jauron and the team might still have been talking when that article was posted yesterday.

2-4 in the playoffs, no Superbowls. I'm in the Sherman camp, but regular season wins are not worth much without titles. NFC North titles? Wow, he beat Matt Millen.

The imprtant thing to look for is if Ralph sprang for a Deluxe car wash for his Taurus at Delta Sonic prior to bringing him back to the airport - as a way to impress him...

No, I'm pretty sure it means the Bills are doomed to a 12-44 record over the next four years, followed by a franchise move to Little Rock, Arkansas. Because the the fate of the entire team rests upon the nine minute descrepancy in the time the article was published!

They're worth a hell of a lot more than regular season losses.

Good point. He makes that much without taking the job. GB has to pay him, right?

A lot of stuff can happen in 9 minutes in Buffalo, but very little can happen in 9 minutes in Arkansas
