respk Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 Outside of baseball there isn't much of a link between how much you spend and how well the team does. Investing wisely is far more important than the ability to throw money around. I think what you will see with the Sabres is an excellently run organization that will spend money the more it makes money. I don't believe golisano cares if the Sabres make money, he just doesn't want them to lose money. If the team made 5 bucks I believe he'd be happy. He isn't going to lose millions just so Buffalo can have a hockey team.
