/dev/null Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 If the Football Gods have a sense of humour, he will hire Maxie as his DC and Heimerdinger as his OC

BillsGuyInMalta Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Damn...that means the temptation for Marv and Ralph to hire Mike Tice is still there!
JAMIEBUF12 Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 well he is in way over his head and i am glad we didnt get him, thats not sour grapes either.....the jets will be waaaay over the cap and they have 18 million invested in chad pennington bear and may need to use more money/draft picks on another qb.

Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Watching the SU game on ESPN, and saw it announced there too.
Ljberkow12 Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Mangini will be a good HC but that might not be the case in 2006. If Mangini is smart, he'll do the same thing they did in New England in 2000 and take the salary cap hits while getting rid of some players whose contracts don't justify their roster spots. Tannenbaum and Bradway have probably already discussed this with Mangini. The Jets will do well if everyone is on the same page. That's something Mularkey wasn't going to get with the Bills.

Rid of players whose contracts don't justify their roster spot, or everyone on the same page? If Ralph and Marv are on the same page who's right? Wrong? You lost me here.
