stevestojan Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 I've always wondered what the hell goes on during one of these things? I mean, I doubt Sherman is going to have Marv ask him "Now name a time in a past job where you experienced some adversity, and give specific examples of how you dealt with that." and all the other bull sh-- questions generally asked on interviews. I personally love going on job interviews. But honestly, you think going in the GM probably already has a pretty good idea that this guy will or will not get the job. His track record is in the public eye like no other job, and you more than likely have people in your company (players) that have worked with him before. Do you think they are mainly "Let's see if he will agree to go in the same direction we want to? Will he be a 'team player'?" Because I have a VERY hard time believeing that if both Sherman and Haslett would actually come to buffalo, but Haslett had a better interview that he would somehow get the job. Don't get me wrong. I wouldn't mind Haslett (I feel we NEED to go with an experienced HC this time), but is Sherman came here it would be unreal.
