Chilly Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 awful kick 568860 I bet that your post sucked, and I was right.
PromoTheRobot Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 That kick wouldn't even get you one point in the CFL (a rouge)...It missed the end zone. You have to TRY to miss that bad!! PTR
The Dean Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 I bet that your post sucked, and I was right. 568862 That was beautiful!
daquixers_is_back Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 I honestly can't remember a kick that was so incredibly bad.
ATBNG Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 I honestly can't remember a kick that was so incredibly bad. 568964 Darin Erstad's titanic hook for the national championship will always be the standard. It was way out of his range, but it landed out of bounds. Vanderjagt is like Reggie Jackson - Mr. October.
DC Mom Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Wasn't the spread crazy big anyway? I think it was just revenge for the drunk kicker comments by PM.
Marv's Neighbor Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 It definately gave a whole new meaning to "wide right."
Hollywood Donahoe Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 It definately gave a whole new meaning to "wide right." That kick was slightly wide right of "wide right."
Johnny Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 That kick was slight wide right of "wide right." 569308 that was a nasty comment who is that guy in your avatar, tarkenton??
Mantis Toboggan M.D Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 I honestly can't remember a kick that was so incredibly bad. 568964 If you saw the texan kicker kris brown miss his kcik to send a game into overtime, you would have seen a worse kick. That kick wasnt nearly as bad as the kick kris brown kicked.
Hollywood Donahoe Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 who is that guy in your avatar, tarkenton?? Nah, it's Roman Gabriel.
hootie1 Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 And wasn't it Van der Jagt who said the Colts would never win the big one because Manning was a choker? Oh the irony!
IDBillzFan Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 And wasn't it Van der Jagt who said the Colts would never win the big one because Manning was a choker? Oh the irony! 569622 Followed by Manning yesterday stating in his post-game press conference that he should have had better protection.
X. Benedict Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Followed by Manning yesterday stating in his post-game press conference that he should have had better protection. 569649 What else could he have said?
Spun Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Followed by Manning yesterday stating in his post-game press conference that he should have had better protection. 569649 Manning was right on with that one. The Steeler blitz was in Manning's face nearly every time they sent it at him.
Simon Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 The problem wasn't the Steelers blitz, they were getting plenty of pressure on him early with a standard rush. They didn't really need to send extra rushers until later in the game when their thin DLine started to wear down a bit, especially after Peyton went no-huddle. The real problem was that the Colts offensive line was freaking horrible. They were the single worst unit on the field for either team and imo cost the Colts their season.

It's Manning's fault because he's a choke artist, will never win the big one and he isn't Tom Brady! Haven't you been paying attention?
Beerball Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Vander Whoosie was quoted as saying that after the kick he thought it was good.
