Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Ok what does that have to do with Moulds? Who do you replace him with. Unless you think evans can be that guy I dont see it, we dont have a qb as good as delhomme. 568838 Moulds can't do half the stuff this guy does, but is slated to earn more than him next year. Time to say goodbye.

He's not a playmaker like that anymore, but he's still a good receiver, and you cant just get rid of him without replacing him with a posession receiver or if we get a real tight end who can work the middle of the field. We have neither on this roster with kevin everett being an unknown.

MDH Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 To those who want to keep Moulds.... Watch Steve Smith. THIS guy is a #1 receiver. 568828 So if someone isn't as good as Steve Smith they're not a #1 WR? Then I guess 31 other teams in the league are in need of a #1 wideout...
Rico Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Damn shame for the Bears to have a 2nd-round home field game without a true NFL-caliber QB... what a waste. 568840
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 568892 thats what you get for speaking too soon.

AJ1 Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Monsters of the midway? Who did they play? The midgets of the NFC North or whatever division
Golden Wheels Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 With that Grossman INT with 2 minutes to go, it's all over but the shouting.
zow2 Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 With that Grossman INT with 2 minutes to go, it's all over but the shouting. 568970 Sexy Rexy just didn't get it done. Seattle is going to have its hands full with the Panthers.
Mark VI Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 With that Grossman INT with 2 minutes to go, it's all over but the shouting. 568970 Wow. The clock ran out and the Refs missed the delay of game call, prior to the INT. That was a non-play. Incredible.
Golden Wheels Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Vaunted Bears defense just didn't get the job done today. Period.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Gotta give kudos to Grossman though, played a gutsy game. No way Orton woulda kept it that close.
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Lovie Smith got away from bears football, and left his defense exposed, and never quite adjusted. Kudos to Rex Grossman for hanging in there, but there was no reason to go away from your bread and butter Thomas Jones. Hopefully for the bears and their fans lovie will learn from his mistakes this game, and learn to play to their strengths. John Fox is one hell of a coach.
AJ1 Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 So what was TD's excuse for not hiring Fox? I bet he had a good one.
