beerme1 Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Is this guy just cursed? He has all the talent in the world but cant get it done. I have a enormous amount of respect for him as a coach. But it strikes me as odd much like Martin's teams in Ottawa had all the talent in the world but couldn't get it done while he was there. Hell, the same can be said for Marv for that matter. Just weird how some people or teams destiny trips them up.

Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 568616 No sh--. Damn fuggen Steelers. I'm sure Simon will be along any moment to tell us how TD built that Steeler team.
Mark VI Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 There is a reason loaded Tampa Bay dumped him for Gruden. Gruden finished the job year 1 at Tampa. Post Season is a whole other animal that many can't handle.
beerme1 Posted January 15, 2006 Author Posted January 15, 2006 568616 That comment about Marv was in anticipation of someone calling me out on him.

You know this year Ottawa won't win the cup either. Just not enough grittiness come playoff time.
beerme1 Posted January 15, 2006 Author Posted January 15, 2006 I think they have overcome the lack of grit. Earlier this year they rammed it down Toronto's throat just to prove it. Ultimately though, their fate lies in Dom's groin
