Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Roethlisberger is perfect on his opening drive. Another draft TD screwed.
Fezmid Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Funny, didn't realize Buffalo had a shot at him. Oh wait, we didn't. PS: There was an incomplete pass on the drive, so it wasn't perfect.
AJ1 Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Roethlisberger is perfect on his opening drive. Another draft TD screwed. 568109 Thinking the same thing. The 'genius' couldn't figure a deal to move ahead of Pittsburgh.

jester43 Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 yeah i wanted that guy something awful...but we didn't have a shot at him without trading up. besides, if we would have gotten him, he'd probably be dead by now.
MarkyMannn Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 We took all of Pitt's rejects off their hands so they could be better Isn't the "BUS" retiring after this season? He still looks great even in a part-time role
Gavin in Va Beach Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Live in the now man, live in the now.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 15, 2006 Author Posted January 15, 2006 Live in the now man, live in the now. 568121 Good advice if you're over 80
GG Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Had we moved UP, we could have nabbed him before the Steelers, but don't let reality get in the way. 568118 As I recall, Bills tried to move up, but found no takers. Considering how much TD gave up for Losman, he likely wasn't skimping on the trade compensation.
MarkyMannn Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 besides, if we would have gotten him, he'd probably be dead by now. 568119 That's for sure, he would have been a flop here
The Jokeman Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Thinking the same thing. The 'genius' couldn't figure a deal to move ahead of Pittsburgh. 568117 He tried but Houston and Jacksonville wouldn't part with their picks as a result we ended up with Lee Evans. Now if you have issues with trading up with Losman I can understand that but I'm still not ready to call him a bust.

Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 15, 2006 Author Posted January 15, 2006 My !@#$ing God I hate the Steelers. Damned Peyton Manning. Another Marino-eqsue QB.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 15, 2006 Author Posted January 15, 2006 You're letting JSP's reality get in the way. 568128 Mrhm-hmm. Oh, I forgot, in your rosy little world, TD did nothing wrong.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 15, 2006 Author Posted January 15, 2006 This is !@#$ing ridiculous. The Indy D is absent today.
Fezmid Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Mrhm-hmm. Oh, I forgot, in your rosy little world, TD did nothing wrong. 568132 No, but you can't blame him for not being able to trade up for a player you wanted, especially when it was reported that he DID want to trade up but couldn't find anyone to trade with. CW

If he REALLY wanted the guy, he shoulda bent over backwards to get him.
KD in CA Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 This is !@#$ing ridiculous. The Indy D is absent today. 568134 Well there you go!
