I also can't imagine Ferguson falling that far (someone will move up to get him). White will move way up come combine time. Def a top 15. And Marooney and Calhoun will be first rounders.

He will go very high, the guy is a player. You think Calhoun will last till round 2? I don't know enough about him. I just figure percentage wise you are going to get 4-5 RBs going in round one (Bravin only has 3).

The only reason Ferguson drops to us is that the first three picks are set in stone pretty much (Just the order is in question) and luckily for us GB, OAK and Sf all have significant money tied up into their LT's. I won't get into trying to prject draft-day-trades, etc. As far as White his combine numbers will likely not help him since he's not going to run well enough to move up into the top 15 since most of those teams have RB with only PHI and MIN possibly taking him. But I think PHI has too much money invested in Westbrook and needs OT help and MIN won't pass up Pope if he's there or Lewis for that matter. It's a toss up with those guys on who's gonna be better think. Of course all this changes dramitically after the combine. So we'll see.

They can easily grab a solid RB in the 2nd round but the same cannot be said at DT.

Then of course he vaults into the top 12-15 picks. This is all based on physical measurements and career perfromance at this point. Combine gives you upside in my opinion which will make teams reach. This is just 1.0....

BravinSeattle Posted January 15, 2006 Author Posted January 15, 2006 Huff at #7? One game and he jumps 7-8 picks? 567729[/snapback] I can't say that. I'd say that SF takes him because he can play both CB or FS at an elite level. Maybe he's not a shutdown CB per se but he's difference maker in secondary and will likely have some eye-popping combine numbers. You could swap Huff for Williams at this pick but just think that Huff is going to be the better player in the NFL.

He''s probably the 3rd best DB in the draft (maybe,, as he is neither pure CB nor Safety and he'll have to play ONE of those positions in the NFL) and SF has a LOT of issues.. But, they have to prove they know how to draft...so anything is possible. (Maybe they'll take another QB. ) I'm not saying he won't be a player...I think he will.

I think he's the FS in the draft and the 3rd best CB. He should move up quickly after combine.

Mark Vader Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 You really think Gabe Watson will go in the 1st? I like the guy too, but I think he will go 2nd round. I know you only have the top 25 picks, but you don't see a single WR going in there? I know it's a weak crop this year, but I'm sure one WR will get taken in the middle of the first.

He's late 1st pick I think. As far as WR's I'm not able to projec them until the combine because there really isn't anyone who stands out. Holmes is a late 1st at this point until he runs. Just my opinion.
