BF thanks for clearing up details but you have to agree- she totally overreacted with the first incident. She was way too upset. In 2000 she was warned and that was very serious even though it wasnt treated as such. Can you imagine if Phil Helmouth turned over someones cards?

BTW Annie did not embarrass me- no more then when Duke when wins a basketball game or the Dolphins or Pats win or if the the Red Sox win. Some teams and players are fun to root against

Actually she isn't the only one that would get upset at the first incident like that. That's a tourney no no.

She was totally out of line in the incident in Positively 5th Street though.

Big letdown that she won though tonight. She was the least qualified to be at that table (other then Raymer, but he is the World Champion)

This is totally an entertainment event and the major qualifiication is that she attract attention and folks talk about her, Comments from a number of folks saying how pissed they are at her that they are moved to advertise this event on TSW means Mission Accomplished on her part.

One might remotely state that the WSOP is (or maybe used to be) is a Poker skill and luck tournament, but this event is made for TV completely. The key thing for ESPN, Annie Duke and in fact all the participants who will make bucks adding this to their resume and advertising them for other gigs is they could give a rat's behind what anyone thinks, just spell the name right.

I just wanted to add I think women are great for poker and are just as skilled. I enjoy watching Cyndy Violette, Jen Harmon, Clonie Gowen, Adele Bruijn, Evelyn Ng, etc. I just cannot stand Annie Duke

I am with Pete.

I was disgusted with all of her talk about her brother at the table and then she cries when she puts him out. OH WELL.......if you are going to cry when you put your brother out then don't enter a tourney with him.
