You can only imagine how disgusting and bloody and viscious someone being beheaded is but yet it is their on video if you wish to see it. www.ogrish.com Then you have Guantomo Bay and a bunch of Europeon writers talk about how we are mistreating them and our media is all over that story. Talk about the tail wagging the dog. WTF? They are in the Caribean reading the Koran eating well and living in better conditions then they have at home and American civilians trying to make a difference are being beheaded and what story does our media choose to cover. It makes me sick. I am glad the videos are out there for one. Our media does not cover it-people need to understand that there is no logic when dealing with extremists. Fug them. They crop up all over and there's little you can do about it unless you understand the tactics and resolve the core issues. The videos and coverage are having the desired effect for those that create them. Even though they are posted on the crazies' websites I'd be in favour of a total mainstream media ban on feeding the flames. It does nothing but create fear in Joe Public's mind and hence meets the objectives of the militants. Don't give them the satisfaction. On a related note, if I'm a contractor in Iraq (or the middle east for that matter) I'm pretty much a ready target. It's not a secure area and probably won't be in our lifetime. Kind of like climbing Everest. I have a choice. If I go, I might die. I feel badly for their families but I'm not shocked they are getting picked off.

Freedom of speech doesn't protect speech you agree with, it protects speech you loathe.
