Corp000085
Head Coach/GM--Marv Levy Asst. Head Coach/DC--Haslett OC--[insert names of available oc's] ST--Bobby April Listen, i'm all for bringing in a guy like Mike Sherman or jim tressel to be the head coach, but we all know that's a pipe dream... I do wish tressel would come, then i could wear a work appropriate bills sweater vest... Marv is coming back to be the head coach and haslett as the DC to redeem himself with the chance to succeed marv in the next couple of years, ala joe gibbs and greggg williams. as for the front office: Leave it as it is. Marv is a figurehead GM now anyways. If things go well for the bills in the next couple of years, marv can retire as coach and stay on till death as the leader of the bills and figurehead GM. Again, I'd LOVE for sherman or some other proven guy to come (not that marv's unproven, but it is time to look ahead and quit reflecting back), but my scenerio seems like it might be what's coming. edit: I hope this doesn't get burried in the head coach threads, since i actually put more than 3 seconds of thought into it. That AP article on the Front Page here is way off if you ask me...Wilson said "Absolutely not" when asked if Marv would be HC...And Marv did not answer the question directly the 1st time, but came back and said that part of his and Wison's agreement when he accepted the Job was that he would not go back to Coaching...Marv then said he would not be in the consideration for that Job...I don't know where they got the idea that Marv would not rule himself out (in that AP article)...Seems to me he did rule himself out, and Ralph did too...anyway... Just thought I would reply 'cause you said you put a lot of thought into it...Tressel is still my guy...I think he would fit well with Marv too...And it would present a HC to Marv that would need his knowledge of the Job in the NFL...I just think Tressel is a great fit... Corp000085
I did not watch or listen to the PC, but i do know that wilson has contradicted himself before in the past week. I'm trying to have an open mind with the most likely scenerios, and not my dream scenerios. I'd love tressel too though (my wife's family is from younstown. The guy makes Jesus #2 in that town.
