Ray Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 I love Big Ted as well, but with a salary cap of around 50M and a cap figure of 8-9M for an injury prone guy--that is just dumb. He went to Chicago and missed almost a whole season due to injury and missed over half the year last year for New England with an injury. Hey, Donahoe has made some bad decisions but that one unfortunately had to be made. When no other team signed Big Ted for awhile and it looked like he may be re-signable GW mouthed off about not liking fat players.
pkwwjd Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 If by "reason" you mean the 7 points the offense he lead put up in that AFC Championship game, then yes. Or maybe it was the Pats' D. Take your pick. 40465[/snapback] Actually, my first thought wasn't the first SB the Patsies won, but the second they made it to in 1996 (Jan 97). Drew did that one for sure. He had a big gun that year.
