Like A Mofo Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 We have no budget!!!! RW better stick to this!!!
slothrop Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 That pu$$y couldn't handle Buffalo fans or the media. LOL! 565182 What would have happened if he coached in philly or NYC - sheesh!
Steven in MD Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 If money is not an option......Get GW back...JUST KIDDING!
PromoTheRobot Posted January 13, 2006 Author Posted January 13, 2006 Levy at the podium...Levy agrees with what RW said. He was looking forward to working with MM. Levy is just as shocked. Q: DO you feel new HC should have been a HC before? A: No...he must be a good teacher...he must work well with everyone...must be a straight shooter. But prior exp not required. Q: Did MM have a misconception of how things were supposed to work? A: MM never broaght them up
Like A Mofo Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 What would have happened if he coached in philly or NYC - sheesh! 565229 I think Buffalo is tougher...I really do. You ARE the focus in Buffalo...at least in NYC you can get "somewhat lost" in the big city life, other teams make a lot of news etc.
DPR4444 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Marv's qualities of a good coach: good teacher work well with everyone in the organization "straight shooter"
PromoTheRobot Posted January 13, 2006 Author Posted January 13, 2006 Q: Is Buffalo a tougher town than others? A: Not at all...losingis the cause...wining is the cure Q: Is this what you expected as GM A: This is tough but not too tough
Clockwork Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I think Buffalo is tougher...I really do. You ARE the focus in Buffalo...at least in NYC you can get "somewhat lost" in the big city life, other teams make a lot of news etc. 565232 Having lived in several sports markets and seeing local sports media, I would agree with that statement.
PromoTheRobot Posted January 13, 2006 Author Posted January 13, 2006 Q: Yousaid you were surprised more teams don't run the no - huddle. Do you want an offensive minded coach? Also are you going to keep some asst coaches. A: yes...several coaches we'd like to keep but we won't act until we have a new HC Q: (did not hear q) A: I can't speak for MM and what his family felt
Clockwork Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Marv's eye are like slits. Are they even open? 565237 I was thinking the same thing. Looks like he just woke up!
bills_fan Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Having lived in several sports markets and seeing local sports media, I would agree with that statement. The #1 sport is tough in any market. Steelers in Pitt (noone cares about the Pirates), Yankees in NYC/ Knicks after baseball season, Red Sox in Boston. Whenever you have a clear #1, its a tough job.
PromoTheRobot Posted January 13, 2006 Author Posted January 13, 2006 Q: Will you make new HC keep some current assistants? A: They are letting HC candidates know some current assitants will be kept on Q: What about you as HC? A: ha ha ha ha ha ha h ah ah ha . No seriously hahhahhahahhahahah Really...we are going to conduct interviews quickly
PromoTheRobot Posted January 13, 2006 Author Posted January 13, 2006 Q: are you worried about how the team is viewed in the NFL? A: we aren't perfect but no I think the bills are though of well. Q: are you sure you won't be HC? A: hahahahahahahahahah....no. Q: But you said you might? A: I didn't say that.
Clockwork Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Marv gets a bunch of laughs. What a charmer.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 lot of focus on no huddle but wont be deciding factor
PromoTheRobot Posted January 13, 2006 Author Posted January 13, 2006 last question: Q: is there a way to help a family deal with the presuures A: No...just show them alot of love and celebvrate when you win end of PC
