Gardinier Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 I would like Jim Haslett or Jim Fassel as our next head coach. Yours?
PastaJoe Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Steve Mariucci. I wanted him for OC, but now I'll take him as HC.
N.Y. Orangeman Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Paul Pasqualoni 563701 Settle for Major Applewhite..
Tcali Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Steve Mariucci. I wanted him for OC, but now I'll take him as HC. 563699 Mariucci would be good. Just please NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Haslett. Fassel did take a lousy team to the SB.--but no thanks on him anyway.
Albany,n.y. Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Lou Saban. The team can say about Ralph, Marv & Lou: They're not old, they have 250 years of life experience.
Webster Guy Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 I want someone who knows how to handle players, communicate with the fans, and basically inspire everyone. I hear that Jets Def Coordinator Donnie Henderson is a guy that his players would run thru walls for. Whether it's him or not, I want that kind of guy. I don't think Fassel is that guy. Gregg Williams wasn't that guy, no matter how good a DC he is/was. Haslett? I'm not sure. Choose wisely Marv.
AJ1 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Anybody but a coordinater who does not deserve to be elevated to a head coach. We've had two of those consecutively.

We've had two of those consecutively. 563707 I think with Ralph's "thriftiness", the only coach we can get for low money IS a coordinator looking for a shot. For every GW and MM, there's a John Fox and a Lovie Smith... The Bills could get a "dog" hiring some coordinator, but could find a diamond in the rough as well. I think Marv's intuition may be better than TD's to find a head coach.
WVUFootball29 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Dick Jauron and Dick LeBeau would be two of my faves right now. Al Saunders should definately be on the list of interviews
dmsrc Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Haslett or Fassel all the way! I would like Jim Haslett or Jim Fassel as our next head coach. Yours? 563690
Buford T. Justice Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Why do so many people have a hard-on for Haslett? What the hell has he done as a head coach?
Thailog80 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Why do so many people have a hard-on for Haslett? What the hell has he done as a head coach? 563737 Made Aaron Brooks into a fine young QB.....
BravinSeattle Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I would like Jim Haslett or Jim Fassel as our next head coach. Yours? 563690 1. Mike Sherman 2. Eric Mangini 3. Jim Haslett
Sound_n_Fury Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Lou Saban. 563705 They're killing me, Whitey! They're killing me!".
BuffaloWings Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I could go for Fassel - he has experience being a head coach and can handle the media and scrutiny. If he could handle New York City, Buffalo oughta be a breeze. I also think there are plenty of legitimate candidates...I just wish Ferentz didn't withdraw his name (if I heard that correctly). But we need a coach who players will play hard for - Cottrell, Donnie Henderson, etc. - and one that knows the right guys to bring on board with him. Jeff Fisher might be a pipe dream at this point, but one can dream....

That guy will get it done with any team he decides to coach. Does anyone know if he has even been offered a head coaching job yet?
