ofiba Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Maybe they are announcing that MM was simply pulling an early April Fools joke?
bills_fan Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 John Murphy said it was because of frustration over not being able to fill OC/DC positions with quality coaches.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Say goodnight, the party is over for Mularkey.
ofiba Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 John Murphy said it was because of frustration over not being able to fill OC/DC positions with quality coaches. 563573 Who would want to coach under a lame duck head coach?
Bear Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 John Murphy said it was because of frustration over not being able to fill OC/DC positions with quality coaches. 563573 As in he wasn't allowed (by Marv and Ralph) to hire the guys he wanted....or none of them wanted to work for him??

Sound_n_Fury Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 "Looks Like Something Is Up" It sure ain't gonna be season ticket sales next year...
bills_fan Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 As in he wasn't allowed (by Marv and Ralph) to hire the guys he wanted....or none of them wanted to work for him?? It seems like B, noone wanted to work for him given the instability in the organization (ie lame duck). Thats fine. Lets get a real coach in here.
Mike32282 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Either way...once he started comtemplating it...he has to do it. Goodbye Mularkey!
Moose Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 On Friday the 13th, no less. They should have the press conference at 1:13 instead of 11... and bring in some black cats and broken mirrors.
Bear Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 "Looks Like Something Is Up" It sure ain't gonna be season ticket sales next year... 563585 Bet you are wrong. You may have been right with MM around, but not if we bring in someone with some talent. The promise of a new season filled with new (competent) coaches, a high first round draft pick and 4 picks on day 1, along with some great camp reports will have the seats filling up again.

AKC Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Who would want to coach under a lame duck head coach? 563578 It's a pretty favorable place to be for someone with previous head coaching experience ( and in some cases even not) who doesn't mind taking over for the dearly departed head coach.
