Clockwork Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 To be the coach, or to be a possible candidate for coach?
MDH Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 I just heard it on ESPN radio... Great news! 563351 Umm, as of now we still have a coach. How on earth could another one (who's still in the playoffs btw) already be lined up to take over?
hootie1 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 I just heard it on ESPN radio... Great news! 563351 I find this hard to beelive. Has Mangini been seen at the airport? If its true that the BIlls already have a new coach, this adds credence to my idea that MM is being let go, not resigning, and that this "leak" about family concerns is just to save face...
haff20 Posted January 12, 2006 Author Posted January 12, 2006 Sorry.... Candidate for coach... He is only 35 and runs the NE defense.
MDH Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Sorry.... Candidate for coach... He is only 35 and runs the NE defense. 563367 He's a candidate for almost every coaching vacancy in the league.
SDS Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Sorry.... Candidate for coach... He is only 35 and runs the NE defense. 563367 No one younger than me should be allowed to run an ice cream stand let alone a football team.
Peter Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 That would be great. Apparently, the Jets are all ga ga over him, but BB has discouraged him to take the Jets job because of all of the problems they are having.
Peter Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 No one younger than me should be allowed to run an ice cream stand let alone a football team. 563377 It would bring the Bills' median age down.
Astrobot Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Mangini would do well to consider the Bills' job compared to the Jets' job. -Better Offensive pieces... -Younger players... -We're not $28 mill over the cap... -We have an uninjured QB that isn't $15mill against the cap...
Fan in San Diego Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Interesting pick. He is the DC for Pats currently ?
MDH Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 He is the DC for Pats currently ? 563388 Yep.
MDH Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Weakens them and makes us stronger, IMHO. 563394 Kind of interesting that it took years for Romeo Crennel to get a shot at a HC job while Mangini is likely to get a shot after a single season. A season, I might add, that hasn't been that great for the Pats D.
Peter Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 If the Bills are already talking to Mangini, there is no way that MM all of a sudden told ML and RW today that he is thinking about quiting for family reasons. There has to be something more to all of this.
