Favorite Athlete in Adulthood: Lance Armstrong

 

I'm not really even a bicycling fan, but I think for toughness, pounde per peound this guy is tougher than ANY athlete in competition today.

The first person that came into my mind was Barry Sanders. Just a joy to watch and he never opened his mouth of acted like it was a big deal when he scored a TD. His accomplishments in the sport meant so little to him that he retired a year before he was likely to break the all time rushing mark. A mark that Emit Smith never would have touched had Sanders played 3-4 more years.

 

Just a class guy and spectacular athlete.

Grant Fuhr, Pat LaFontaine, Jim Kelly.

 

 

Fuhr was the reason why i picked up a goalie stick when i was about 10... We're both lefties, so i thought that was neat.
