thisiskeith12 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 No one is going to want to come to Buffalo on a 1 year contract nor work with Mularkey.

Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Who said you're giving them a one year contract? They will likely be given three or even four year contracts. Other than the coordinators, doesn't make much difference as even if they come to Buffalo, and in a year MM gets fired, the new head coach wants a whole new staff, so they're let go. The new D line then would get paid by Ralph until they get a new job which likely would occur with in a year anyway. So at most Ralph pays them for a year.

Otherwise, your post is spot on.
The Jokeman Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 A low-level hack looking to spruce up his resume might. 562981[/snapback] or maybe a guy with HC experience (see Martz or Haslett or Capers) who thinks he can step in improve the offense (or defense) enough that he can step in and replace Mularkey when Mike gets the axe after next season.
