Sen. John Blutarsky Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 no way Eagles trade TO to a team in their division -- not a chance. they know how great the guy is and that he's likely to settle down in his next spot knowing he has no more chances. TO has a better chance of coming to Buffalo than any other team for the several legitimate reasons laid out in the original and subsequent posts. 565955 Here the fatal flaw in your arguement, and this is my last time even reading this thread... Nobody...let me repeat...nobody...once again...NOBODY will trade for TO. Why? because the entire Western hemispere knows that the Eagles will release him before March 1st. There hasn't ever been anything in my life that I have ever been more sure of including my own name and gender. NFL teams will not trade for a player who they can acquire for nothing, hence we didn't trade Bledsoe last year and hence AZ had to cut LJ Shelton. Nobody would give up ANYTHING for someone they knew they could sign for free. Setting all the other things aside for a brief moment, this reality debunks your theory Mr. Rosenhaus. Washington and Dallas may very well get To becuase Philly won't be able to stop them. one would think sanity would stop them, but I doubt it will. I actually HOPE he comes to the AFC East, we won't win next year any way and he'll do so much damage in that 1 year that it will totally blow whichever team signs him out of the water in 2007...go for it Miami...or New England...

All 4 parties - TO, his agent, the Eagles and whoever gets TO - which right now looks like the Bills - are all HIGHLY motivated to move TO with a trade. fyi -- you better check your name and look down your pants to verify your gender.
IowaBills Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 yes it does. consider 2 more factors: - Bills have soured on Moulds; - Owens would be better off with a small-market team where the media is less intrusive and there are fewer distractions over all. 562713 If TO can get a lot of the Eagles players to doubt Donovan, who (along with great D) took them to 3 straight NFC finals and then 1 super bowl, what do you think he will do to JP when JP doesn't get him the ball the first, second, third times he thinks he's completely open? NO, NO AND NO to TO!

I will give you 3 to 1 odds....$100. If TO is on the Bills roster by the opening of training camp, I pay you $300....if not, u pay me $100. Whaddya say, partner?

gmac17 Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 jduncan - let me guess - retatta for dinner, right?
bdelma Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 A real character guy( Owens) just what marv wants. Forget that wish.
ExiledInIllinois Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Are Moulds and TO VERY close friends? Somewhere I remember reading that they were tight.
shibuya Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 yeah and Owens wants to be on a team that has no QB identity. Whywould any Bills fans even think TO is an option, or whywold any Bills fan want him as an option. he wants more money, he doesn't know when to shut up, and he is basically a complete !@#$. TO is a headcase, and will be the #1 way to guarentee the bill mediocrity for another 10 years get a clue TO hopefuls... He has no business ever being a Bill.

CoachChuckDickerson Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 so why not take a shot at having the most dominant WR in the game? 566615 trade for Steve Smith?
krazykat Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Marv loves players like TO. 562711 Yeah, all we need with Owens is for Levy to go get Leaf to throw to him. That should ice the cake.
truth on hold Posted January 14, 2006 Author Posted January 14, 2006 trade for Steve Smith? 566617 last time i checked panthers arent trading steve smith. you know something the rest of us dont?

Take that tissue out of your purse and wipe your nose. And please turn off the lights as you exit...this thread is done. p.s. -- if you grow a pair of nutz, IM me -- offer still stands. But I know I won't be hearing from you Enjoy the retatta, and say hi to george siefert when you get to the airport

EC-Bills Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Ralph just went to 200 mg of Prozac! 562749 Correction. Ralph just overdosed on prozac. Now Marv Levy and Tom Modrak are dragging him around from place to place ala Weekend at Bernie's
Shamrock Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 I just don't see two Octogenarians out-laying a large sum of $ to TO. I don't think TO and Marv are on the same page when it comes to character. But then again, to play the Devil's advocate, maybe it could be a situation similar to that which occurred with Mike Tyson and his Coach/ mentor, Cus D'amato- (1985- 1988). However, Mike was a puppy then and TO is 33 and too old maybe to mentor and the situation you'd get would be Mike Tyson in charge of escorting the Beauty Pagent...don't even mention biting...
truth on hold Posted January 15, 2006 Author Posted January 15, 2006 jduncan - let me guess - retatta for dinner, right? 566473 and what's your plan for turning around bills offense? stay the course? kind of like bush in iraq "stay the corpse?"
