Justice Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 Now that my anger has passed and I thought about this situation I came to one conclusion and that is no one is getting traded, no matter what both TH and WM say or do. If WM gets traded to say, Miami, which won't happen, he will most certainly, blow his knee out again. Wannstedt runs his back like a horse and WM isn't ready for that. It's in WM's best interest to play as a relief back and prove to everyone that A. He's healthy B. He's a team player and not a cancer to his team. C. That he is worth what the Bills will ask for if he is ever traded. Buffalo won't settle on a first round pick, only. We need more than that back on our investment. Another scenario crossed my mind. Maybe the original report was fabricated and then someone asked DR about that report and he responded by saying WM is too good to be a back-up, not knowing that WM even said that in the first place. I don't think WM likes being made into a liar. If WM did indeed, tell Buffalo that the report isn't true just to have DR come out and confirm it is true, only makes WM look bad. WM better straighten DR out. Hopeful thinking, I guess.
