The Poojer Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 is it worth watching? I just got a copy and I can either keep it or exchange if for sumfin else!
tennesseeboy Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 I was less than impressed. My daughter took me to see Hostel last night. Tarantino and crew have definitely outdone themselves in the gore department.
TheMadCap Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 It's ok Pooj. About par for the course. It was fairly entertaining, but not completely accurate historically. I probably wouldn't watch it again, but it was ok the first time around...
Johnny Coli Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 is it worth watching? I just got a copy and I can either keep it or exchange if for sumfin else! 561838[/snapback] It was a lot better than I'd thought it would be. It's not a bad rental, but I wouldn't ever watch it again.

Peter Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 I thought that it was pretty good. The French actress in it, Eva Green, was one of the main reasons why I enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the fact that it tried to portray the opposing sides as three dimensional characters. It was not as good as Gladiator, but is definitely worth a look.
Johnny Coli Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Here's a link to some of the historical comparisons to the movie. Linky
