Mark VI
Why is this OL coach and ex-NFL Guard such a hot commodity for an OC postion ? He has zero experience calling plays, from what I've read. sigh..
inkman
This certainly doesn't strike me as "something to get excited about".
RunTheBall
Please get us someone with experience and a proven track record running the ball. I think Norv Turner would be the best candidate. RTB

Mark VI
I want to think Ralph and Marv are doing the right thing. Please don't let us find out they're looking for Coaches who will work for Soup and a Sandwich, instead of talent and experience.
Albany,n.y.
Grimm has been mentioned for head coaching jobs even though he's not a coordinator. Maybe he's really here to be the head coach if Mularkey gets off to a rough start and Marv doesn't go back to coaching.
nick in* england
At least if we sign him we'll have a good reason to call our offence Grim(m)
JoeF
Oh Great..an offense based on the Center sneak and the Guard and Tackle eligible...Instead of gimmick plays we'll have grimmick plays... (It's early--the best I can do)...

Bill from NYC
Why is this OL coach and ex-NFL Guard such a hot commodity for an OC postion ? He has zero experience calling plays, from what I've read. sigh.. 561615[/snapback] I know nothing about him as a coach, but every time he is on the sidelines, announcers rave about him. Have you noticed that?

Alaska Darin
At least Grimm is an offensive lineman who had great success as a player in the NFL. I'd rather have him than friggin' retread Norv Turner, whose offensive genius turned Randy Moss into a pedestrian.
Coach Tuesday
He'll be the Lions' head coach by the end of the week, so it's a waste of time.

Ramius
Maybe he's panning on bringing in "The thing" as an o-lineman. If thats the case, we could end up with jessica alba as a position coach.

eball
I honestly don't believe Marv is trying to do this "on the cheap." He knows that the pressure is on to turn the Bills' ship around quickly. Which leads me to point out another reason why Marv is such a great hire -- because Ralph trusts him implicitly. Even if Ralph doesn't "want" to spend the bucks, if Marv tells him that's what is needed I believe he'll open the purse strings.
