Ramius Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 anyone see the new claymation Bills commercial? Theres a family with bills gear watching the game, and you hear the announcer say how the game's about over and the other team is gonna take a knee. Then you hear him go crazy and say "he fumbles the snap" and the Bills return the fumble for a TD, and "the bills win, can you believe it". The family goes crazy. then you hear this... "Wait...the officials are saying he stepped out of bounds on the 30 yard line, and the Bills lose. What a heartbreaker." Then the words come up on the screen... "Without Sports, we'd stop believing." What a cheap shot. !@#$ you espn. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:

Maguire's Beer Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 It's kind of a compliment. 561325 Yeah, I like it. If we can't win, at least it's nice to be acknowledged as the Red Sox-style hardluck capital of the NFL, instead of dismissed as an inconsequential loser a la Arizona.
Stussy109 Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Old news, that came out about a month ago or earlier... great commercial nonetheless... Sums up the rollercoater ride of a Bills fan.
eball Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Why would any Bills' fan be pissed about this commercial? It's an homage to being a diehard fan. Geez, do some of you just wake up in the morning looking for reasons to get bent about something?
BillsGuyInMalta Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 I thought that was a fantastic commercial...shows how dedicated we Bills fans are to the team. Good to know we have that reputation.
X. Benedict Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 I got a great laugh out of it. It just sums up so much....kind of like McGee getting tripped up at the 4 yrd line against New Orleans.
cåblelady Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 I thought that was a fantastic commercial...shows how dedicated we Bills fans are to the team. Good to know we have that reputation. 561339 We're cool.
dry martini Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 I thought that was a fantastic commercial...shows how dedicated we Bills fans are to the team. Good to know we have that reputation. 561339 agreed. hell, it's vince gallo-esque.
XNorthBuffaloLad Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 at least it's nice to be acknowledged as the Red Sox-style hardluck capital of the NFL, instead of dismissed as an inconsequential loser a la Arizona. 561328 Hey, the RED SOX at least finally won a championship, something we still have yet to do ... You probably meant the CUBS ..
Mark VI Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 I got a great laugh out of it. It just sums up so much....kind of like McGee getting tripped up at the 4 yrd line against New Orleans. 561340 I feel the same way. Frustrated fans of other teams can relate.
SOPRANO 3695 Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 anyone see the new claymation Bills commercial? The Dean Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 It is a regional ad. Every NFL city has their own version. 561392 I live in SF and I've only seen the Bills one so far. I think it's GREAT!
Ramius Posted January 11, 2006 Author Posted January 11, 2006 It is a regional ad. Every NFL city has their own version. 561392 then how did i see the ad in tallahassee? the commercial just grated me wrong. its like they're making fun of the bills, to go along with all the patriot bob knobbing.
Corp000085 Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 its definitely not a regional ad. I've seen it here in NC, in y-town ohio, and in buffalo. Its a great commercial though. Shows everyone what its truly like to be a DIE HARD bills fan who's blood is red white and blue.
SilverNRed Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 It is a regional ad. Every NFL city has their own version. 561392 Friends in Texas have seen it. I don't think it's regional.
Sound_n_Fury Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 An arcane reference to the non-call on Bebee when he stepped on the line on his TD in the "greatest comeback" game, perhaps...
Fan in San Diego Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 I havn't seen the ad but you got just laugh along with these sort of things !
