Rayzer32 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Maybe the Bills werent THAT bad after all! How in the world did the Jags win 12 games???? 558706 Look at their division and schedule.
Schulman16 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Look at their division and schedule. 558709 Yeah well if you want to talk about their schedule, they beat seattle, cincinatti, and pittsburgh, and almost beat indy twice.
ans4e64 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Maybe the Bills werent THAT bad after all! How in the world did the Jags win 12 games???? 558706 Come on, the jags defense is really good, they have 2 of the best defensive tackles in the game, the most underrated linebacker and corner in Peterson and Mathis. They can plug in their backup QB and go 4-1, they have 4 quality running backs in Fred Taylor, Greg Jones, LaBrandon Toefield, and Alvin Pearman. Their WR's are Jimmy Smith, Earnest Wilford, Matt Jones, and Reggie Williams. Thats how they can win 12 games.
Ramius Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Yeah well if you want to talk about their schedule, they beat seattle, cincinatti, and pittsburgh, and almost beat indy twice. 558951 Or try this. Houston, Houston, Tennessee, Tennessee, Arizona, San Francisco, St. Louis.... the bad teams far outweigh the good teams on that schedule. And they didnt really beat pittsburgh. Tommy maddox hadned them the game on a silver platter.
Ray Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Having a great D-line helps. Also helps playing Texans and Titans twice and San Fran. But the good thing is, is that we a few moves puts the Bills closer than you think. How about Grady Jackson next to Adams on the DL. Then either of the two great DEs in the draft (ones from NC state and BC). Immediately the defense is like two years ago provided Spikes comes back!
CJPearl2 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 They only beat Pittsburgh because Tommy Maddox was playing and threw 2 int for TDs.

Greg Jones. and jimmy smith their rest of their offense pretty much did nothing. Reggie Williams? The guy got knocked down to their 4th wr because he's been such a gigantic bust. I'll give you their defense though they have a very strong dline good lb's especially in Mike Peterson and Akin Odoyle, and their secondary is good as well. They like us lack an oline. Leftwich isn't also a qb who can carry a team on his back, but with a strong run game he can win some games. He still has to learn the meaning of "touch pass".

Then look who they have for a HC and who we have.
colin Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 they hang around in games and then have enough mis match guys on O to win games. leftwich is garbage tho, he really is overrated
ans4e64 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 lol other then fred taylor when he's healthy. Greg Jones. and jimmy smith their rest of their offense pretty much did nothing. 559020 Um no.... you're completely wrong. 1.) You mentioned fred taylor and greg jones, well lets take a look at LaBrandon Toefield. As a third string RB he had almost as many touchdowns as Willis McGahee who started all year long with 4. And i bet you didnt know that againts the Titans toefield had 25 carries for 102 yards and a TD. 2.) Now the WR's. You say jimmy smith but i bet you didnt know that earnest wilford had more touchdowns than smith with 7. Against St Louis wilford had 6rec 145yds and 1 td. The 145 yards is more yards in a game than Smith had in a game all season. 3.) QB's. As you already know leftwhich was hurt and garrard came in and played great. Against arguably the best team in football in the colts, Garrard had 35 pass attempts and completed 74% of his passes. He also had 250 yards and 2 td's. Quinn Gray their 3rd stringer came in the last game with only 8 completeions and threw 2 td's. So no..... taylor, jones, and smith do not make up their whole offense. Nice try.
