Corp000085 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 give del rio some credit... he is the guy who almost cut his punter's leg off with an axe in the locker room.
Rayzer32 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Except that RJ wasn't just coming off of injury (mazingly enough) and kicked the Colts' asses in the season finale the week before. Also the Bills were ahead when RJ left the field. This was NOTHING like that. 558696 What I was getting at was the fact that both coaches may have f'd up the teams chemistry. The Jags were 4-1 with DG and on a roll. The Bills were playing well with Frutie when he got the hook. BL was looked rusty as hell. Believe me, I was glad to see RJ in and he definitely did what he needed to do to win that game.
Gavin in Va Beach Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 give del rio some credit... he is the guy who almost cut his punter's leg off with an axe in the locker room. 558707 Del Rio swung the axe?
Corp000085 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Del Rio swung the axe? 558716 i can't remember... was it del rio who swung it or was it a self inflicted injury by the player?
Corp000085 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 willie mcginist tops bruce smith on the all time playoff sack list. 15.5 to 14.5
ExiledInIllinois Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Worst 12 - 4 team in history? 558684 Not exactly... Even know the 2005 Jags are bad! The Bears in 2001 were 13-3... And they were bad! Will next week for the 11-5 Bears be a redux? I am banking on it, until they prove me wrong.
theNose76 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I might hate the Pats - but I was smart enough to put $30 on them today at the local sports book. No way were they going to win by less than 8 points against a team from Florida in a home playoff game with Brady and Belichik. Ok, now lose next week Pats when I bet against you
Tcali Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Come on Jags! Knock Bradys head off his shoulders! 558554 Nice going Jags---way to take that 'national TV dump' the Bills are so famous for.
ExiledInIllinois Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Nah, Pats are just fine. It's your Bills that truly look like a 4-12 team. 558763 No need to get defensive. Even Pats fans feel the disrespect. I think PTR meant the Jags look 4-12... Not the Pats... But, that is just my reading comprehension.

But, that is just my reading comprehension. 558769 Yes, I was talking about the Jagwads, not his precious Patriots We all expect that kind of knee-jerk response from Pats fans. If someone isn't giving their team a 24/7 tongue bath, they get all pouty because their team isn't being respected enough. PTR
NYGPopgun10 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Leftwich a bust? The guy is tough as nails. He shouldn't have been out there, which doesn't fall on him but on his coach. Leftwich stands in there and makes tough throws. He takes hits to make plays and sacrifices his body for the good of his team. Maybe if they had an actual offense outside the injury prone Taylor and the aging Jimmy Smith, he'd light it up. Their line also is not that good either.
zow2 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Funny to see the Jags board going crazy over Leftwich starting instead of Garrard. Of course after 28-3 they are livid with Del Rio and embarrassed.
