Does anyone rember the biggest mistake of Marvs career was our first Superbowl against Dallas. Frank Reich became the comeback kid against Houston and took us the three wins needed to get to the bowl. Kelly's ego couldnt handle not being in there and Marv starte kelly "We are going wiht the guy who helped get us here" Which should have been Frank because he was hot. And Kelly barely made it into the second qtr of this blow out.

The other thing that sticks out most in my mind is Marv dumped us when Todd Collins/hobert/hebert didnt pan out. He was not going to stick around for a rebuild and only wnated to come back to the bills last year when all the peices were in place to make a strong push.

Face it JP is riding the bench this year and rookies beware and First round picks well Just ask Eric Moulds he knows it well. Didnt start until his third year after Marv left.

Marv is going to bring in a Veteran QB and some retreads they are going to make the push for the bowl run this year read between the lines while we still have a defense that does not need rebuilding for atleast another year or 2.

I'm no fan of marvs but wasn't Shane Conlan rookie of the year?

Does anybody else think that maybe Moulds wasn't ready to play in the NFL yet?

His career turned out pretty good. Maybe more players shouldn't be thrown in right after college as a starter and expect to carry a team? Maybe their careers would last longer if they watched a veteran for a bit and developped under them. Palmer did it, Brady watched behind bledsoe for a bit. Its not always a bad thing to be on the bench in your first year and get to watch the game before you are thrown to the sharks.
