Posted January 6, 2006 Share Posted January 6, 2006 Vikings | Childress chosen as new head coach; must now reach contract Thu, 5 Jan 2006 16:35:10 -0800 Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the Minnesota Vikings have chosen Brad Childress, formerly the offensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles, as their new head coach. The two sides have begun negotiations and as long as they can work out contract terms, the team is expected to name him their head coach Friday, Jan. 6, at a press conference.
