It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Ralph held off on the firing of MM for a day or two so Mularkey had time to contact all the guys on his staff personally instead of hearing it on TV......I have no proof of this but it wouldn't surprise me. Just my two cents.

he said he doesn't fire coaches. his GM's do that.

 

at least i think that is what i heard him say....

 

at least i thought it was Ralph. I might have been Shecky Greene at the podium.

Its the "one thing at a time PR strategy" that is in the NFL "dealing with the media" playbook.

 

Tomorrow is Fire Mularkey day. Friday is new GM day. Concurrent starting tonight, is the Coach search dance starts with the interviews to satisfy the Rooney rule. It all ends with a press conference Monday or Tuesday to announce the new coach....
