N.Y. Orangeman Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 I'm having a difficult time believing that MM would risk his job solely over a strength and conditioning coach? Which other coaches are at risk? Obviously, Clements has been dead man walking since October, who else should be ticketed out.

But then again, if I want TD to go for delivering sub par talent, how can the coaches deliver with out anything to work with. Lets look at Kumrie, who in the hell could make that line anything approaching good, quality NFL line play

My take: Offense: Tom Clements, OC: Gone Sam Wyche, QB Coach: Promoted to OC Eric Studesville, RB Coach: Sticks Tyke Tolbert, WR Coach: 50-50, I'll say he sticks Jim McNally, OL Coach: Sticks Mike Miller, TE Coach: Sticks Defense: Jerry Gray, DC: Gone Tim Krumrie, DL Coach: Sticks Don Blackmon, LB Coach: Sticks Steve Szabo, DB Coach: Gone, though it is a close call. ST/Misc. Bobby April: Sticks Brad Roll: Gone
RVJ Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 I know Clements has got to be one. Even though Mike's play calling was even worse. What others ? If RW wants Gray gone...can he force Mike to hire Haslett for DC ? Thats assuming the Haz wants it. He get 3 mil sitting out doing nothing.

And for some crazy reason Mike Marks could bring some exitement to the O. What do you think.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Well if he goes to Buffalo he'd still get $3mil as whatever Ralph pays him, New Orleans pays for $3 mil minus that amount. Say Ralph pays him $300,000 New Orleans pays him $2.7mil. The advantage of coming here (or anywhere) is he keeps his head in the game. If the Bills defense became good, he's likely get another shot like Gregg Williams was being talked about. Or if MM does terrible next year, he could become the next head coach here. You sit out, you beome a Jim Fassell type that no one talks about anymore. I know Clements has got to be one. Even though Mike's play calling was even worse. What others ? macaroni Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 My take: Offense: Tom Clements, OC: Gone ... although I'm not 100% convinced it's his fault ... I suspect he was sabatoged by MM. Sam Wyche, QB Coach: Promoted to OC Eric Studesville, RB Coach: Gone ... we need better production from our RBs Tyke Tolbert, WR Coach: Gone .... in an appeasement firing in an attempt to retain Moulds (and this was the sticking point during last nights meeting between MM and RW) Jim McNally, OL Coach: Stays Mike Miller, TE Coach: Stays Defense: Jerry Gray, DC: I have a feeling he'll stick around for some reason. Tim Krumrie, DL Coach: I wish he were staying, but I think he's the designated sacrificial lamb for the defensive coaches. Don Blackmon, LB Coach: Sticks Steve Szabo, DB Coach: He SHOULD be gone because I'm tired of watching our DBs play 10 yards off the LOS ...... but he'll stay. ST/Misc. Bobby April: If there is justice in this world ...... he stays Brad Roll: If there is justice in this world ....... he's gone
stuckincincy Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 If there is one ounce of brains left - everybody but April.
