Accuracy in Media 552112[/snapback] But you want to use as few words as possible when you write a headline and "West" uses up 4 whole letters and doesn't really ADD anything to the story. It conveys FAR less flavor about the article than the word "just". And heck, prior to the 1860's it was part of Virginia, so are you really losing anything by not including it?
