It would have to be a head coaching job, none of this consultant stuff, but if it (an offer came), I would certainly listen very keenly.'' Just a quote I thought worthy of revisiting... About three weeks ago he flat denied any contact whatsoever with the Bills. This wasn't the article I was referring to about it, but it's some confirmation. During a speech at the Millennium Hotel, Levy said, "I have been contacted by two teams about coaching again, and I'm thinking about it. One of them is not the Bills. That's all I can say about it." And the doddering Levy just let them go on for quite some time, knowing it wasn't true. Then his silence fueled more speculation. And then he finally had to come out and say no, he hasn't talked to the Bills at all. And this came out 12.14.05 Levy has been strongly lobbying anyone he can engage in a conversation that he wants to coach again for a few years now. My point is that if Ralph wanted him to think about coaching, he would have brought it up to him recently. It would not be TD calling him. And there hasn't been a call as far as we know. It could have happened in the last two weeks, but there is zero substantiation for this as far as I can see. I just don't even imagine that Ralph would bring him back as a coach. I have worked with many people who are much older than I and were also much better at what they did than those who were half their age. If they cna do the job, hire 'em.
