OT there a real season going on

Not that the NFL preseason is not interesting but what importance all this will have after one quarter of Game 1?! Preseason is really 99% meaningless

So what about that AL wild card race! with 2 playoffs spots for 4 teams (Oak , Bos, Ana and Tex) the 4 teams are playing their best baseball of the year, they have won together now their last 18 games and are just one game apart in the standings; It should go on till the last days of the season...
