Brandon Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Good matchup in this one today. Auburn DE Stanley McClover going up against Wisconsin LT Joe Thomas. Both are juniors, so its possible neither one will be available, but both are R1/2 prospects. McClover is a guy I think is very underrated at this point. Also, its a chance to see Auburn LT Marcus McNeil play.
Zac Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Joe Thomas is one of my favorite prospects in the draft.
N.Y. Orangeman Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Joe Thomas is one of my favorite prospects in the draft. 548813[/snapback] I like him better than Ferguson, though I'd take either. If he is there at #8, he is tough to pass up.
Zac Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Did anyone see the block where he ran out and led the RB like a Fullback? He is incredibly athletic and fast for an OT.
Lothar Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 OUCH! Looks like Thomas suffered a serious injury in the game - playing defense of all things. This would surely drop him from surefire 1st rounder to ... depending on the extent of the damage.

He and DE Mauques Gunn could go in the first round of next years draft -- they look to be Kearse-type DE's who can dominate a game.
