Ten understatements for 2005

Recommended Posts

Nate Clements is a highly overrated cornerback.

Kelly Holcomb is a career #2.

JP Losman is an unknown commodity.

Jason Peters is a very good offensive lineman.

The biggest disappointment for 2005 was the poor performance of the defense.

Based on the Bills record over the past 5 years, Donahoe is a failure.

Based on today's leg whip sack, even the NFL officials have bought into the Posey hype.

The Bills offense is offensive.

Bobby April is the most effective coach on the Bills.

Terrance McGee is a consummate professional.

I would add:

Lindell can actually kick field goals, and

High Motor white guys work in the Big 12, but not the NFL.

I would also add London Fletcher to the consummate professional list.

Nate Clements is a highly overrated cornerback. - diasagree, until this year, we all agreed was a top 5 CB...still is.

Kelly Holcomb is a career #2. - at best

JP Losman is an unknown commodity.- totally agree

Jason Peters is a very good offensive lineman. - going to get better

The biggest disappointment for 2005 was the poor performance of the defense. - I'll tie with the O-line...I thought the O-line coach was a miracle worker...

Based on the Bills record over the past 5 years, Donahoe is a failure. - amen

Based on today's leg whip sack, even the NFL officials have bought into the Posey hype. - ;)

The Bills offense is offensive. - playcalling is ugly

Bobby April is the most effective coach on the Bills....yes

Terrance McGee is a consummate professional - and a pretty goot football player!!!

Troy Vincent is old and plays like it

Lawyer Milloy tries hard but is old and plays like it

Sam Adams is old fat and lazy and plays good when he feels like it

this is the worst run blocking offensive line the bills have had in quite some time

Trading up for JP Losman was a dumb idea. This team would've been better served keeping those 3 other draft picks and taking some linemen.

Eric Moulds 10 years later is still our best wr

Aaron Schobel got the big money contract and continues to get better

Our te's are really horrible. They're non existant in the pass game and horrible blocking.

Our best blocking te is our new rt.

Mike Mularkey preaches smash mouth football then trys to play finese and ends up outthinking himself.

The team, and Willis especially, missed Mike Williams when he hurt his vagina. He does make a difference in the run game.

Josh Reed quietly had a very solid season.

Moorman was overdue and deserved his Hawaii trip. McGee deserved the Pro Bowl also- he is the best in the business at KO returns. Those of us who saw him every week know that London Fletcher deserved the Pro Bowl, but for others around the country, it's tough to vote for the middle linebacker on one of the worst rushing defenses in the NFL.

There's a decent chance we will see Losman to Everett in the next Bills game. Get them both in there!

I hope Rian Lindell retains the same offseason workout regiment he used last spring/summer. He made himself 10x better.

The new pat downs at the gate did not restrict me from sneaking in 2-4 beers each week (but only after the weather cooled down and I had some layers on; the shorts and t-shirt make it tough to hide 'em!)
