Corp000085 Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 the seal has already been broken... tice is history as per the scroller on espn.
Mike32282 Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 And so the bloodshed begins. Let's go Ralph! Give us a late Christmas gift! Fire both baffoons tomorrow (Tom Donahoe and Mike Mularkey). Let's start fresh again and clean house.

JoeF Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 The Vikings love boat needs a new captain ....I heard that the first question Tice asked if he still receives his Super Bowl ticket allotment. TD and MM may be bad--but at least they are not dirt bags...
JoeF Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Damn, there go my Super Bowl tickets. 547780 I had TD's....shoot....
Crap Throwing Monkey Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 the seal has already been broken... tice is history as per the scroller on espn. 547740 Nice of them to wait a few hours after the game...
Just Jack Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 From ESPN.... "After a tumultuous season littered with on-field inconsistency and off-field embarrassments, the Minnesota Vikings fired head coach Mike Tice on Sunday. While the team did rebound from a 2-5 start to finish 9-7 -- narrowly missing the playoffs -- owner Zygi Wilf decided not to renew Tice's contract. The fate of Tice's staff was not immediately clear." If you're not renewing his contract, how is that the same as being fired, unless he's just cleaning his desk out sooner? Tice out: Vikings fire head coach after 9-7 campaign
Rico Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 From ESPN.... " The fate of Tice's staff was not immediately clear." 547816 Ted Cottrell for DC, anyone?
Mike32282 Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Ted Cottrell for DC, anyone? 547820 I would take him in a heartbeat!
fairweather fan Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Agree about Ted. The problem is not the coach, it is the General Manager and the Owner. The worst head coach in football was Bill Bellichick in Cleveland, but he learned how to be a head coach. Get a great quarterback in the 6th round, and have a Moe Lewis/Buffalo Bills take your $100 million quarterback/statue off your hands.
LabattBlue Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 I would be surprised to see Tice ever be more than a position coach in the NFL from here on out.
