Corp000085
you beat me to the punch... that was a VILE injury. brees was going for a fumble recovery... his throwing arm was extended and his body was torqued around with his arm pinned to the ground. no bones hanging out or any actual crazy dangling arm, but it was disgusting to watch. Sound_n_Fury
now we can see rivers... 546378[/snapback] ...he's not pulling an RJ and looking very good. Very limited pocket presence so far, particularly on that fumble in the end zone. I wonder if SD would rather have had him nailed to the bench from a trade value perspective? Mark VI
I must be watching a different game. Rivers looks like a bad backup to me. Noodle arm and limited mobility. Chad P. Jr.

stuckincincy
Well, after Brees, I'd say any coach who was on the fence about playing key starters in a meaningless game just hopped off same.
