I mean, what is the point in keeping the kid around if he's never going to get game experience? That's a LOT of money to pay a backup, yes? Look at Tim Anderson....It took him about 1/2 season of games to be a starter to find out that he can play.....THe last few weeks he has been playing very well starting from that Carolina game....Young players (especially the ones drafted in later rounds) take time to get their feet wet in the NFl...Teams have to be patient..... It is sad that MM is in with the maddening Veteran crowd and not looking out for the future...If I were MM, I will be activating Gates (instead of Williams), give more playing time for Baker and King....Put in preston and Geisinger on the OL.....It it time to see how our young kids can handle the NFL pressure.
